There’s certainly plenty of STers who get fooled by winning FG’s.My argument to them is if DCE had played better prior to FG’s,he may not of been required to kick them

3. DCE - tried his guts out, kicked a field goal, didn't get injured. Ticked all the boxes required for 3 points. Hopefully he wins ST player of the year for the 13th season running. That's what being "elite" means people.
2. DCE - For finally getting sick of not having a good enough side around him to win a premiership and deciding to leaving the club. That takes guts people, easy option would have been to stay and take another years salary and miss the 8.
1. DCE - For laughing when he missed the kick off and Warriors scored fastest try ever. That's composure, that's ice running through his veins. It was like he needed a challenge by giving Wahs a head start. Proceeded to put on a game management clinic to guide us to a tough fought win against a determined and skillful opposition. Elite.

Yet if a player didn't save a try, or players didn't score their tries, then the field goal would amount to nothing. It's actions within 80 minutes that win games, to which dce was a part of too.

I always thought it was a bit too simple of people to say X player won the game with a field goal. There were a numbers of times manly players saved tries on Friday. If they didn't, then a shot at field goal may never have took place.

I usually go on time remaining in the game and what we need to win the game. Between 5 to 10 to mins, sure, you can factor in all the missed goals and try's saved but it's what we need in that 5min moment that really sticks in people's minds.
