DCE tried hard and laid on all 3 tries in the 2nd half (and for those saying he didn't do enough in the first half ... you actually need the ball to do anything, and we didn't have the ball). Marty and AFB were OK. Jake once again tackled anything that moved, but still managed to give away a few 6 again's, again. Garrick scored 2, from kicks strangely enough, but there were 6 scored against us on his wing. 3:1 against isn't a good ratio. Funa showed some good signs, but was a mixed bag with more bad than good at times.

Overall, it was a very poor effort. The game was lost from the 9th to the 19th minute when they scored 4 tries out wide ... all converted. And one got an extra kick as an 8 point try. And during that 10 minutes, we never once had the ball. It was tackle set for Souffs, score, kick off by Manly. Lather, rinse and repeat....4 times. And all started after a poor pass from Levi that led to Jake dropping the ball.

Wow DCE is getting votes for that performance. The game was dead and he tried a couple of hail mary kicks that came off. Apart from that he was MIA again.

I thought Parker was solid - that's enough to win the 3 this week. I know Funa had a couple of errors but he at least looked like he wanted to win and I thought he looked better in the 1 than both Elliot and Garrick have. If Tommy is out next week than I'd stick with him at the back. Hard to get excited about any of the forwards really, none really stood out. We should have played Guaca.
