So Foran is now an international No. 7, not bad for a guy who some experts here claimed wasn't capable of playing halfback.

Hodkinson is a lucky man, good on him, hope he puts on a good performance and stays fit.

Git out of this pretty well, thought Kite and King would have been picked, Williams a slight chance too.

Looking forward to Lyon v Matai, Foran should be close by too.

Heard Wayne Bennett complaining about how badly his side will be affected by rep selection blah blah blah,Yeah good one Bennett, you play us the same weekend and we have more players in rep sides than you do,and youre complaining FFS stfu.

The most exciting part about this for mine, is that players who get selected early for City / Country and the like tend to come out of the experience more confident, skilled and ascertive.

Look at Choc after he played SOO. He came back a beast.

As much as it pains me to say this, I hope Forna also has a blinder for NZ.

I want to know if Sheens will have any better luck in teaching Choc not to reach around from marker and give away another dumb penalty by knocking the ball out of the dummy half's hands. If that one thing sinks in then his selection has been a bonus for us.

Sika Manu in the Kiwi team. Is he that bloke that used to play for Storm but has been out injured for about a year?

c and c

put the bone away.we have a great set of halves.we have won 5 from 6 since hodkinson came in and foran went to six .we lost both prior to that.be happy about it.

foran is a great player.he is a better player with hodkinson inside him.allows him to use his running game much more.

another small matter -  he is kiwi halfback because he is both exceptionally good and there is not a single kiwi halfback currently available and playing the game in australia or nz.

In my opinion both teams should have the bye this week. we'll get it next year i guess.

Either way we are professionals, we are the best team, with alot or representitives. Beware when we finally click for the full 80mins

Remember we played the dragons after SOO last year, same situation - so I doubt it will ever get beter. Just one of those no one likes us we dont care things I guess.

Look on the bright side. At least we get to watch our players in 3 different games over two nights. (And some of them are guaranteed to have a win)

All Rep. players are able to play in their respective NRL game during this weekend's games if they are fit enough.
This has lead to varying results over the years, with some players putting in fantastic performances around 20-24 hours after a Rep. match.

Go Kangaroos & Country!

Good news is I think Matai will be marking Inglis rather than Lyon, I think he will be moved to the right to play Sau on the left

Choc is one of those and dare i say it, Perry has the capability to do it aswell (proviso, he goes from one game to the next without meeting up with a donut or pie stand)

The joke of the whole situation is that Matt Cooper was ruled out for Country by the Dragon's doctor but he has been named to play. That sucks. He should be ineligible to play if he wasn't available for the Rep game on the night before!!!

Is all about being available to train during the week CW, he is unable to do so apparently

But i did read it is 4 of the last 5 years or something like that he is ruled out and then plays for the Drags

They should do a QLD City v Country match on the same night each year - even it out for us NSW suckers. You watch as one or more of the SOO hopefuls get injured friday while the QLDers rest up.
