Des is here 'til 2014 at least & has stated that he isn't a career coach.
He is, however a head coach & pretty much equal to CEO at Manly. He would not become Gus' numpty. Surely even Gus would prefer someone more maliable.

He has virtually agreed to a two year extension from what I understand. Just need to find that same pen that Foran has misplaced.

I'm sick and tired of hearing this: Foran's contract ended last year. If he didn't sign, he wouldn't be playing with us now.

The lack of press release and fanfare might be something I will agree might be the same as Foran's case.

I agree on this. Gus would be stupid to get a coach that will tell him to sod off.

Des would be stupid to go to a club where he doesn't have full reign.
