We can't afford a slow start and to give them a head start. We need to work hard and take our opportunities. If we can stay in the contest then they may get frustrated and ill disciplined. The first 20 minutes will be crucial.

They’ve struggled to score points this season so hopefully we can hold them to another low score

Would feel more confident if Paseka was playing, him and Lodge would of been up for this. first 10min will see where the Chooks heads are at, and for that matter ours as well. Two early tries to us could cave in any resolve that they might have.

It's been like this for a while now, it's another white knuckle ride for sure.

If we had Turbo and Paseka together with Lodge Sports Bet would be giving the Chooks 13 points start.

Chooks have been blasted in the sports media this morning - talking about them being in decline and about to boot half their Roster. They will be out with a vengeance tonight - and their team is stronger than the last time when their backline lost Suali/Smith shortly before kickoff.

Missing the forwards we are, Lodge and Sipley are going to need massive games. Seibold said Lodge was sick all week so lets see how that affects the gas tank.

We need an epic game from one of Bullemor, Matterson or Burbo. Else we rely on Woods....

It's our Grand Final again tonight. Even if we win we still may miss the 8, but its better than losing.

But If we do lose tonight, even if we get some favourable results involving the Cowboys, Eels, Sharks and Knights we will likely have to win one if not both of Warriors (away) and Panthers (home) just to scrape into 7th-8th. I'm not that confident on either of those games - especially not if we lose against Easts. If we win tonight then 8th is a strong possibility even with losses in those 2.

Oddly, dreamed that I was watching the footy last night football (yes weirded me out too) and a score drifted into my dream ...like a premonition around this game and the score 32. Hopefully its what we end up scoring as the chooks can't score that many pts most weeks.

So we either win with 32 as our score, or we lose with the Chooks scoring 32. Hopefully it ends up being bollocks. I'm not keen on becoming some NRL-strodamus thanks. And no I don't have NRL dreams ever which was why it was so odd. 32. Lets see. ¯\(ツ)/¯
