I'm wondering if the 6 to go calls are recorded in the stats? It seems to me you can really skew the refereeing stats if claiming that there was only a 4-2 penalty count when one team may have 10-1 6 to go call.
I'm with @Tomay on the ball strip too. If two go in the tackle and one drops off, the strip shouldn't be allowed.

I thought it's supposed to be the same as a penalty, they just give 6 again to speed up the play. So I think it should be out down as a penalty.
 
Small sample size but I like what I see from 1 ref and six more rule. Could be a little biased after having no footy for 10 weeks but I really enjoyed that half. Seemed to be free flowing.

They will count it as a seperate stat. No doubt this was in their thinking when the introduced it. Now they can crack down on slowing the play the ball without blowing out the penalty count.
