Does anyone know if there is a supporters bus from Gold Coast to the Brisbane vs Sea Eagles game in May - if so how do I organise a couple of seats?

Flight tickets to Townsville now booked - Me and the kids are flying up on the early morning Jetstar flight (7.10hrs) on the Friday (same flight as Corso Pete and his son).

Planning under way - does anyone know the Townsville area well and could reccomend a good place for dinner and a few drinks (kid friendly venue) on the Friday night to use as a meeting point for any Supportahs that may be in town then to catch up? (Ideally near the Mercure Inn, Woolcock Street as this is where Mark's  package has the accomodation portion booked)

MWsneagle - Don't know of any bus from the GC to Bris Vegas but If you are a member it may be worth posting on the official site to see if there is anyone driving from the GC to the Bris game to see if you can get a lift and share petrol and expenses (Or post on here to see if Cliffy GC is going and has spare seats - Cliffy lives in the Ashmore area)

Yep No Sex Aqua is Virgin Blue, as is Porn Star for Jetstar...us "industry folk" tend to name airlines....remember Pan Am (long gone), they used to have a saying "we know the pacific"....they sure did cause they were in it more times than most...poor old Panic American, recovered after Lockerbie!!

And to complete the trifecta...."Quaintarse"

As far as Gold Coast to Brisbane Bus....not to my knowledge, suggest you come up on the train, change at Roma Street (or get off and walk) for Milton...they even include free transport on Translink when you have a ticket so costs you ZERO!!

You know I think they are just so good that as yet they are "untagged".

But that's a start!!

Flying today as WAY WAY safer than it was in 2001, but you know what, I feel safer knowing they are a Arab Airline,the Taliban are VERY unlikley to blow up one of their own!!

Many thanks for that Vidmar & Mark from Bne.
A couple of my relatives are going on Hol's to GC at the time and were wondering - they love the atmosphere on the supporters buses. I will pass it on.
Cliffy Gc -  😛 I'm very jealous. It's been over 10 yrs since I've lived in God's country. Every time we go over I get a bit homesick (even thou' I didn't grow up there).

At least 13 of us (now booked) on the 7.10am flight up on Friday to Townsville.
We'll be staying at (Friday) and joining Mark and the group at the Mercure Inn in Townsville on Saturday.
Still keen to get advice on a meeting venue for Friday evening?
Any help much appreciated? For those that are planning on travelling to the game independently stay tuned for an update from Mark from Brisbane?
