Yet another disappointing year from the Titans. Halfway through and on the bottom of the ladder.

Haven’t got anything going for 18 years (except for 2010 where they made the Prelims). Gold Coast Chargers also failed in the 90’s.

Is it time to admit a team on the Gold Coast just doesn’t work? What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Never has, never will. They should have admitted defeat and moved them to Perth, rather than the Bears.

Have to admit I had a soft spot for some of those earlier iterations - the original Giants and the Chargers. Probably my second favourite teams, but that might be because they were never serious opposition.

They will be without Tino and probably Mo on origin duty. Losing both starting props would be tough to overcome for Des. Especially as we are likely getting Turbo and Sio back.

Also Fifita is out this week but a chance to return against us along with Brimson who is currently under HIA after getting knocked out at training.

They won't succeed until they partner with Burleigh Bears, Palm Beach Currumbin HS and Keebra park HS IMHO

They are growing on the ground slowly. I see more of their merch around.

They will also be missing Femor.

But if we have Arthurs at 7 and they have Campbell and Foran/Brimson in the halves, they could cause us a lot of trouble.

But to the question, I like going up for the game (already booked to go). And to me there's absolutely no reason why they shouldn't succeed. They have great weather and lifestyle, a great footy stadium, plenty of funding available (apparently), a solid footy history.
They also have a good squad. It always amazes me that they don't play more finals footy.
I do think they should continue in the NRL but just not show up in 2 weeks 😂

Doubt DCE will be picked for second SOO, but if he is then time to blood Walsh. I know many are saying he's not ready, but we seem to be the only team not debuting any young players and some of these kids have hit the ground running. Surely the kid has been training with the boys and he has enough experienced players around him to guide him.
