He's a perfect option. Not after 800k, could get him around 400k-500k. Good age and has a game that suits Daly. Cherry can still run the team but Jacks could just play his hand when necessary. Sign him up please Barrett.

I really don't see the sense in signing a 400-500k unproven without exhausting our in-house options in Dylan, T Wright and Ned Kelly now while we are trying to balance our current and future finances.

Other than those 2, the best options in my mind are a real-deal big money 5/8, which we REALLY can't afford and will financially hinder us for at least a few years, or Carney for 2 years on about 400k total looking forwards to one of T Wright, Metcalf, Cust filling the spot down the track.

There is no magic bullet fix for the position we are in, the club needs to be far more professional in it's approach here.
