I imagine he would be a very good man manager , but he’d need the very best assistants around him to manage the defence / attack areas and to develop the youngsters.

That’s big dollars right there , & doubt Mr Fluffy would stump the money for anything like that

He's probably be too expensive for Penn. We tend to hire rookies or last chance saloon coaches.

Definitely.He’d command fair $$ from Union sides that Manly couldn’t/wouldnt compete with.Every interview he sounds keen to coach,but not committed.Its like it’s more “take it or leave it” attitude

Yes that’s the sad fallout of all these wins in Mickey Mouse time. We go 12-12 miss out on F/A and call the season unlucky.

Give me a break. This team had the squad all season but were coached to have two left feet and the mentality of dung beetles. And I’ll qualify that by saying dung beetles are more focussed.

So are we at the point now where we simply have to accept that Seibold has a job for life at Manly, but with only one more year as the coach? And that he'll have a hand in picking his successor? That he will be paid to do a job he doesn't really want to do for another year, while simultaneously preparing for an elevated role as Director of Football Operations and Keeper of the Manly Way that will have to be created especially for him?
