Careful mate, the Cheerleaders will tear you apart.
The Spoon cheerleaders 😆😂

The defending premiers perspective time ....Why are we sacking him this week? We don't even have a game!
(and last week we beat the 4 time defending premiers)
That’s a fair side. Would probably be leading this comp. The defending premiers perspective time ....
The defending Premiers who are last placed on the Ladder
and who are defending their title without these premiership winning players of theirs

My apologies Mark, you're right that's ones on me!They want to sack him EVERY week , regardless of win or loss.
Get with the program will you.
Sadly, his ship has sailed.Bring back Tooves
Goes to show the value of weight in his comments
A gazillion percent ...... it's also the front office managing the cap and the owners having the right people supporting the coach and the players.. The poor bloody coach is more often than not the scapegoat for everyone else's failures. The coach is the problem argument is just too simplistic but it fits @BOZO understandingThere’s more black and white arguments in the face of shades of grey. It’s not the coach OR the players, it’s the coach AND the players. It’s a relationship that requires both parties to do their job well to be successful. It’s never just one or the other when things fail. There are too many variables for that.
Is there a better backline in the comp than Manly?
Add Jake + Ola, we have a pretty damn good team.
At the start of this 2025 season, using metrics provided by the independent NRL data partner and circulated amongst two player management agencies, compiled under a specific engagement requirement shared by those two agencies, our starting backline of:
Tom Trbojevic
Jason Saab
Tolutau Koula
Reuben Garrick
Lehi Hopoate ** Tommy Talau **
Was ranked 5th
The rest of the squad:
Luke Brooks
Daly Cherry-Evans
Ranked 6th
Taniela Paseka
Lachlan Croker
Josh Aloiai
Haumole Olakau'atu
Ben Trbojevic
Jake Trbojevic
Ethan Bullemor
Nathan Brown
Toafofoa Sipley
Jazz Tavega
Ranked 8th.
Interestingly, this data is shared with coaches and their football department where they don't have access to certain data or the time to complete their own quantitative research and analysis.
I hope this helps
Who are the top 4 according to independent experts?
No black and white or shades of grey here . All parties are unitedThere’s more black and white arguments in the face of shades of grey. The biggest problem with Spoon (and there are many) is his inability to have us raring to go in big games. We are regularly missing the jump. He has never won a thing as a coach. Even Demetriou had him covered in the lower grades. He is the whisperer of gobblety dook, cok a hoo ha.The quicker the better.
Picking Jake and Takiarto to start the game was brainless - less punch than zero alcohol beer.
Picking Waddell and ignoring young players like Navale is criminal
Management of the bench- crap
Zero game plan against teams.
No plan B if our touch footy out the back doesn't work.
Surely Seinfeld must be getting worried and he has to have performance clauses in his last contract extensionwhich wouldnt be making him feel good, so show some spine spoony and make some tough decisions, NOW
I have never heard him say anything vaguely inspirational, so you can imagine what his pregame “pep” talks are like. “Let’s set the tone early and play to our strengths”. Makes you want to run through brick walls doesn’t it. I wonder what bozo used to say to Mark Carroll before games. Actually, we could probably do worse that give MC a 10 minute stint every game, instead of having Clayton warm a bench seat. The biggest problem with Spoon (and there are many) is his inability to have us raring to go in big games. We will never win a competition with this guy as head coach.
Don’t really want to get into whether he should be sacked or not. I don’t rate him, nor does anyone from up North who knows the guys coaching history but that’s just an opinion. Others may differ but what I want to know isThe biggest problem with Spoon (and there are many) is his inability to have us raring to go in big games. We are regularly missing the jump.
