Zorbas's announcement on Sunday that Cartwright will be our head coach can only bring the demise of our once great club and more misery. Apart from getting him on the cheap what the Penns see in him I don't know? He has been part of the coaching staff that has seen this disaster of a season.

X He's brought us Ferris, now 8 years as a fitness conditioner, a known bully (who cost us Willie Peters), with 0, yes ZERO wins in a finals Game in 8 years across multiple clubs.

X He's been an advisor and 2IC to Berrett this whole time.

X He openly laugh's (laughed) when we got flogged at Brooky when Barrett was gutted and Bryce scored.

I get it people get the ****s with negativity, and I’m also a firm believer of chucking your balls on line to justify comments, so here goes on why I don’t want Cartwright;

1. If he was half decent, would he really be an assistant to a rookie?
2. He achieved nought at the Titsters.
3. He never talks, and to me communication is pretty important.
4. It quite frankly bothers me he is through and through Penrith and Gould probably has him in his pocket.

Anyway, those are the reasons for my gripe.

Just my opinion man. I am not thrilled at him being coach but I want to see him have a chance before I judge. I understand he hasn't hot the most glorious past of record but you never know he may just be one of our greats, but also a large chance he will be a flop. Don't worry if we have a poor start to season watch me jump ship very quickly but still I would like to see him given a chance at our head cosching role.
