Sea Eagles playing on Anzac Day

Manly Sea Eagles first game on Anzac Day was in 1949 at Brookie Oval vs Souths.

Thru the 1950s & 1960s Manly played on Anzac Day every year unless it was a Sunday.

The annual playing of NSWRL premiership games on Anzac Day in Sydney started in 1927.

Four games were played that day. So its a tradition nearly 100 years old.

The VFL started in the late 1960s.

Roosters vs Dragons 'Anzac tradition' has been going since 2002.

I can't really see why the annual Anzac game at the SFS each year has to be the same two Sydney teams.

I tend to agree. We have such a strong rivalry with Parra and Souths we cod make it an event.

We just had the battle of brookvale!

Just sayin’
Yeah believe thet have long-term agreement with warriors

I'm surprised that two of the QLD clubs haven't started pushing for an annual Anzac Day game too. More chance with NRL agreeing if they argue having no QLD or Brisbane game will leave the door open to AFL or Super Rugby.

Maybe Manly should jump on board with the Broncos for annual Anzac Day game at Suncorp with 2pm kickoff.

Or in the nation's capital. Canberra vs Manly @ 2pm.

Being Rich is a good thing

Not every one can be rich because not every one is tenacious ,dedicated and disciplined
Luck also plays a small role but it is more good management than good fortune

Putting others down does not raise our standards
Power to all the Rich people out there

Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
