Brisbane forward Josh McGuire is facing a suspension after he was charged by the NRL match review committee for contrary conduct.

McGuire was handed a grade-one charge for a 24th-minute incident in Brisbane's loss to Canterbury on Thursday night after appearing to pull the hair of Bulldogs lock Adam Elliott.

He will miss next Thursday's clash with the Cowboys if he submits an early guilty plea but risks a two-match ban if he takes on the judiciary.

This is fair grading but last week Marty had same thing happen to him and nothing was said or the player was not even penalised just another Todd moment

Depends who you can get your hands on.

Whatever happens you need to have either a dominant 5/8 or a dominant fullback. If you've got both then great.

Lachlan Coote is probably the only fullback off contract you would look at. At the right price of course. But to do that you would be playing Walker at 5/8 and While that spine is ok it won't win a premiership.

Realisticly it's out for this year. You would need to target a fullback. If we can get Elgey this year and he works out then I would target maybe a Gutherson or a Cotric for 2020. I'm really interested to watch Cotric play fullback this weekend actually. Could mean the beginning of the end for Wighton at Canberra too.

His 3rd contrary conduct grading in one season - he's a real class act. Good news is all the taxes he's paying from his years playing footy should cover the first 20 years he spends in prison after he retires.

Never mind who would be Fullback,why would you move the only dangerous weapon to a position where he is limited to one side of the field?These ideas of moving him wouldn’t be an issue if he was getting the right tutelage from a coach and he was improving at a better rate
