Short side attack on the 5th

Why do both our halves persist with attacking the short side on the last tackle? Has this even worked once this year?

I was happy to see Cherry finally get his hands on the ball to close a set towards the end there. I thought the whole idea was for Green to take some pressure of Cherry in attack, not to be the dominant half and run the attack on his own. Cherry has to demand the ball.

Our halves have needed to play more direct for the last season and a bit under Barrett. That was the pure beauty of Foran. See how he straightens the Warriors attack?

Our attack looks pedestrian at the moment, and I can't see where points are going to come from against this Raiders team.

Seriously what ****en drills do our coaching staff do with the halves at training they have no understanding of each others game.And why do the persist in running towards the touch line.FFS run straight occasionally.
