Should Turbo/DCE Play State of Origin?

Should Turbo/DCE Play State of Origin?

The good news is Turbo won't be picked as his fitness and form are schiit.

DCE - imagine if Spoony made a bold decision, like a couple of other coaches and played young Walsh when DCE was out on SOO duty
Yeah why not. Our season is cooked anyway. Just tell him to go out and have fun. No pressure. Turbo should not be in origin and neither should DCE. Even ola’s form has been average.

Let them play, at least we can have someone else play half back for a few games.

But dead set, how do you choose turbo? Critter was out of this world yesterday, as was Latrell the other night. Best has to be above him also.

They'll probably choose him on the wing and he'll be slowest winger in Origin history.

I think Ben Hunts injury guarantees Daly a run as they'll have to play Deardon at 14 now.

I think there's something going on inside the club, and I don't believe it's the DCE noise anymore. Call me a conspiracy theorist all you like, but hear me out.

The "big three" have been off since round one. Many people said that DCE has been playing poorly since his drama, but he was playing similarly rubbish in the Warriors game before this. Turbo also played poorly in said game. You can put this down to injuries, but both cost us the game long before they went down because of (imo) injuries unrelated to their errors.

I am increasingly of the opinion that something occured between those three and the club in the off-season, and now the other leader (Olakau'atu) is finally getting wind of it. Tom and Jake have been on the decline anyway, but it seriously looks like their focus is not on the field. DCE is self-explanatory.

I will be the first one to say that their contracts are not delivering, but NONE of them were nearly as bad as they are this year, just 9 months ago.

There was a brief intermission for Beau where the club united, and we showed our best, but there has been an undercurrent throughout our whole year, before this DCE business. I have no idea what it is, since Tom & Jake didn't know about DCE leaving before he phoned them prior to Round 4.

Would be shocked if DCE does not play

As good as the players are listed above if he is fit Turbo is better than any of them (of course if fit)

As for Jake it depends on the game plan. Madge was pretty clear that he was on to start the game and do the tackling / work for Payne Haas and other forwards. Anything after that was a bonus

To me Jake is one of the first players that they should pick at least for game 1

As for Gauc in such a tight game he is a game breaker…crazy to not have him
Turbo has been bang average all season. He is nowhere near Origin ready.

I see his name being floated by "experts" in the media, clearly they don't actually watch Manly games as they're selecting him on name recognition only.

If he plays Origin expect him to get snapped in half game 1 and miss another 10 weeks for us.

Cool if that's what you want as a Manly fan, I guess.

Jake playing origin this year? Lol

No chance.
