Siro picked in the City side.........

Tom should be picked as fullback for NSW. He is a lock for wing. Walker will play for NSW at centre. Dugan is a great individual player but I wouldn't want him in this years team.

Okay you twisted my arm.

Good side.
But tedesco will get fullback.
Be OK as long as no one runs at him.
I want to see how the coach carries on in the box though.
Want to see some Tooves like passion!!

I reckon they called the players like Walker etc. to ask if they will play or fein injury, so they could avoid more embarrasment with players pulling out. I'm guessing Tom T has a niggling injury so said no thanks.

Fairfax Media has been told more than 50 players made themselves unavailable through injury, including Tom Trbojevic, Adam Reynolds, Mitchell Pearce, Luke Keary, James Tedesco, Mitchell Moses, Joseph Leilua, Jack Bird, Jack Wighton and Dylan Walker. Dragons forward Jake Marketo was drafted into the squad despite not having played first grade for the Eels this season.

With all the players who have pulled out 'injured' (including Manly players), is it any wonder the NRL all but begged Gallen to play?

Sure they asked him last week before the others pulled out, but the NRL probably knew they would be pushing it trying to select two quality sides for the last ever City vs Country game.

You know, I get why they are scrapping this game, but surely they could continue it under the old pre-origin rules. Select a Country side from players in the CRL and City from NSW Cup. At least it would give those players a chance to show their wares and give them a rep jumper to shoot for.

Manly's Doorman mantle is now with Siro.:swear:

Siro smashed a toilet door, as he was angry at how long his girlfriend and his ex were chatting for in the loo @
