I was there at ANZ a few weeks ago see us put in no effort at all against parra, was very disheartening to see.

Tonight boys you stood up and made the manly jersey proud ...no one will give you credit for it but you took it to the storm and won...I wish I was down there tonight that was the manly of old.

And Dylan yes he was mouthing off but I wouldn't want it any other way.. you legend tonight and you won.. manly is your club please don't leave.

Now if we can't get 15,000 plus to our return game vs the storm on a Saturday afternoon at brookvale this year then we never will.

Very proud effort of the boys tonight, you did us proud and the jersey.
Tonight was one of those nights reminding me why I love this club so much.

Standard was set tonight.

This is the Manly I have been missing under Barrett. Our defense was strong we didn't leak any soft tries. When the refs cheat we don't drop our heads, we use it as inspiration.
Get under the other teams skin and win tough.
Hoping this is the start of a new era, it feels special

The Manly spirit is back.
Fate may actually see us have a good season. We have had a spate of injuries but it seems some of our best players will be back over the next few weeks. It could be that we are at our strongest towards the second half of the season, when it is most important. We can make a charge into the final eight, and there is no standout team this year so the comp is wide open.
Illawarra still has had no injuries. Their bad luck must happen soon.I think the 'Riff have the best chance of winning the premiership as they have great depth.

We have our mojo back and the aggression that has been missing has returned. I was at ANZ that month or so ago and it was sickening to see the team so off the pace and tonight there was an intensity that has not been seen for some time. Let us hope that this continues as we have tougher tests ahead coming up.

And Souffs have apparently had no line up changes in weeks so I heard.
I agree we might be finally getting a fair go in the fate department but I'll be convinced with turdburgers face saving decision over the sin bin.
Who knows what that c*nt is capable of.

Watching the replay, with 19 to go we still had 4 players in a tackle.
15 to go 4 players held up vunuvalu.
Mostly Turbo's work but definitely a up shift in commitment.

Our Mongrel was back tonight. Choc, Gift, Snake, Skivvy always brought it and it drove us.

Walker has it and the team thrived off it.

Remember - No one likes us, let's keep it that way.
