After watching all the young guys from Brisbane and Melbourne fill in for SOO reps it's obvious that Queensland will be highly competitive in the foreseeable future.
What we are witnessing is the rapid extinction of the Caucasian rugby league player. I'm waiting for the first NRL team to run out without a white player. It won't be long.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Mannering and Green are it for the Warriors. I know Mannering missed some games early in the season so that would have left Green on his Pat Malone.

Was there/is there an Under 16s NSW V Queensland match? If so, did Manly have any representatives?
I would imagine so as we won the Under 16s title.
Same question about an Under 18s interstate match. Is one?

I can’t read it because it’s behind a paywall but Slothfield suggesting Origins buggered!!

FMD

NSW lose 10 series out of 12 and still mostly fill the Olympic Stadium, QLD lose 1 and then another 4 years later and the concept is rooted!!

Funniest thing I’ve heard in years.

Origin is only ever good when Qld is winning.....apparently.

From what I am hearing, they are going to be [pleasantly] surprised if they get 50,000 to Suncorp tonight. They aren't looking at a full house, that's for sure.

Is it a case of fair weather fans in Hillbillyland?

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Just take a look at the NBA. For years its been dominated by African-American's and that's because they have genuinely been the best players. Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem, Magic, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaq, Kobe Bryant, Lebron etc etc. The last white guy who I can remember being a genuine superstar, and I mean over their careers rather than just a year or two like a Dirk Nowitzki or even an Andrew Bogut, was Larry Bird and he hasn't played in 26 years.

I can probably name at least 4-5 all black All-Star NBA teams (including past players like those named above), but I would be hard pressed to name more than 2 all white teams that could even match it with them. Its just the nature of the sport.

And I agree 100% that there isn't anything wrong with that. I could care less if someone is white, black, yellow or a little green man from Mars. If you're the best or among the best then you have as much right to be there as anyone.

That u/20s side looks pretty decent. Hodges is the coach of 20s Qld, so really hoping the young Blues smash em.

John Stockton. Most assists of all time. King of the dish.

Dirk Nowitzki was terrific he wasn't just a one or two year guy. Steve Nash.

Current guys. Kevin love. Gordan Hayward. Both all-stars. Porzingas is pretty incredible for a young big man. Manu Genobili. Paul and Mark Gasol.

Black players dominate the league and that's great but there are still some good white ones. I personally think porzingas is the big man of the future. The guy can ball

I'm going to slam a beer every time the pre-game crap commentary talks about Billy Slater. This is going to be a Slater jizz fest and that's the only way I can watch it.
