State of Origin, 2025.

Everything DCE touches turns to Bronze... SOO and they lose at home ground...he should retire 🤣 sooner he leaves Manly the better... what I can't understand how Manly let Humphries go and he is young lad.. Manly let DCE the 40 year old stay another year and then he turns around to say he is off to another club 🤣 great club decision makers
Humphries is half as good as people want him to be…

If all 3 kickers from both sides had kicked straight, it could have been at least 28–10, which would have been even worse for Slater and Qld.

Cleary kicked 1/5 and Lomax 0/1 for NSW while Holmes was 1/2 for Qld.

I think this topic may have been touched on in a few other threads.

A good win to NSW.

DCE's stats for tonight were:
Tackles - 21
Missed Tackles - 5 (Munster missed 11.....)
Runs - 9
Run Metres - 82
Post Contact Metres - 26
Line Breaks - 0
Line Break Assists - 0
Try Assists - 0
Kicks - 9
Kick Metres - 262
Errors - 1
Injuries - Pride
I reckon Munster is a myth. Looks good when his team is steamrolling and he can play off the cuff, but otherwise he’s usually a non factor. And everyone seems to think he is some sort of comedy genius as well - I must say I can’t see it. Must be a qld thing.

I'm curious if anyone has an answer for my tinfoil covered head at the moment but can Craig Bellamy give Laurie like full insights on how his players ( Munster, Grant, Trent, Coates) are likely to play seeming he would know them best or would his info not have any impact on the way they play the game?

I'm a New South Welshman and happy with the result however I must say, I was very impressed with Robert Toia.

Congratulations to the young man, who has had a wretched time during his young career battling injuries.

His "battle" with Latrell Mitchell was a split decision in my eyes, perhaps leaning more towards the debutant.

Wayne Bennett tried to get him to the Dolphins and saw what we all saw tonight very early on.

I hope he is selected again for game two.

I reckon so, Bellamy was in the box with Daley.

He played a lot better than I was expecting but I thought Latrell has his measure.

I can't argue with that.

He'll be better for the run and playing against Lattrell can only help him into the future.

Thoroughly impressed given, like you, I thought the occasion may have got the better of him.

On another note, Stephen Crichton continues to impress on this stage.

He's ability to read the game is underrated and he is only 24 years of age, I really enjoy watching him play.

Crichton was outstanding

I am a Toia fan and have no doubt he is a star… but I would give the points decision to Trell (who I am not a fan of) tonight…

No matter how much I dislike Trell, that boy is a beast when you put a blue jersey on him…

Stephen Crichton is just n out-and-out gun… bigger the stage, better he plays…
