Remember Billy Slater had a "knee injury" and was in doubt for the GF last year. I agree with not bringing Brett back too early, but as for media stories combined with club gamesmanship who knows what to believe.

Agreed Kaza.  Let's not stuff around any more.  If there's better players in the U20 and elsewhere, start playing them.  Weakening one position, ie winger, to bolster, not strengthen another, ie fullback, is just dumb.  Other clubs are bringing their youngsters through, think Panthers, and doing it quite successfully.

Ditto to that. Genuine war wound (Gulf 1) had PCL replaced. Surgeon asked after scan for PCL damage when I'd had my cartilege done told him I'd never had it done to which he replied "Your cartilege is f***ed". Which I though was nice language for an RAF officer.
