I've never rated Smith as a coach, but then again, I've never rated anyone as a coach.  He worked out the Storm well and his troops played with grit and determination.  Kick away from Slater is the key and work their forwards.  They did it well.  We need to do the same.

Oh, and yes, Newcastle almost blew it with that last kick of.  If the Storm forward had of had  his brains in and his foot over the sideline, they would have had a penalty on the half way and maybe, just maybe kicked a field goal to take it into extra time.
