Story: Storm brewing as Melbourne rewrite history

Ahh yes, there it came, the tell-tale sign of someone losing. Goodnight John Boy.@:)

You keep digging a hole for yourself stop it, i said "more" in my post you are referring to.

You just over simplify the definition of "knock on effect" because you don't really know the difference and apply it to every situation that has some form of "knocking on impact"

Hopefully you take this lesson and apply it in reality so you hold yourself up in a better light around the Cromer district.

Maybe without cheating in a financial sense, but watching them play and the tactics they employ I can’t help but think they play totally against the spirit of the game, it’s all about stretching the rules, gaining any advantage possible, playing the odds against the referees. The shame of it is, coming into semi finals this negative play will be rewarded by the referees as they will allow even more latitude in the ruck.

The Drizzle are seen as the benchmark. Their success is built on greed and sponsored by a long time, that evil News Filth empire. The way their so called journos overkill their success suggests that the Drizzle are very much a News Limited club. A club put in the league to bolster and promote the game at all costs in the AFL mad Victoria.

The continual thumbing of their noses at everyone who dares to call them out over their relentless stretching of the rules to get any advantage. Their denial about their crimes and the stain its left on the game.

The coach and captain sum up what they are all about. Win at all costs, nothing gets in the way and then deny that their success is due to this. There is no humility coming out of that place. To openly celebrate wins in grand finals where their rivals were duped by their illegal salary cap continues to infuriate fans especially from our club and Parramatta.

I really wish we had a level playing field, clubs like Melbourne, Brisbane and the Cowboys owe their existence to the clubs that made the game what it is and when you hear voices from those clubs suggest that there are too many clubs in our Sydney and the game needs to expand further it really annoys me. Those clubs happen to get most of the decent TV time slots which makes it harder for Sydney clubs to get an opportunity to get in consistent big crowds.

If the NRL are fair dinkum, them will rule for all clubs, not only an elite few.

When Manly play Melbourne, I see the rivalry and respect it and know that Manly will not take a backward step against them and sometimes I feel that as an older fan I am fighting a lost cause and that this is the new way. I hate that tradition is spurned in our game. Then AFL have successfully built a national league and the foundation Melboune clubs have maintained their traditions and the clubs that were moved still have fan bases in Melbourne as well as their new cities.

We cannot allow these one team towns to dominate like they are, there has to be a level playing field or the comp long term will be reduced to four teams in this city and the clubs gone will either fold or relocate. We as rugby league fans have to support our clubs and prevent this.

I can never support or feel happy for a club that epitomises everything that is wrong in the game!!
