The grub was running scared for most of the night. Every time he got the ball from a kick and saw any of our guys running at him he would immediately pass it so that he wouldn't get smashed.

I think he owes his mates too. They got hammered by his offloads.

Pretty gutless and predictable. The only thing he had tonight was his speed to consistently catch kicks which you have to give him credit for. But then he passed it immediately so he didn't have any pain. Baby.

After Foran got him a few times he wasn't interested

That is 1 thing I have noticed the past couple of years when we play Melbourne, Slater doesn't hurt us at all on kick returns but he destroys other teams with them

Imagine Billy's tombstone

William B Slater
Died at the age of 23
run over by a Tyrannasaurus Rex

\"Billy the speedhump\" will make a good banner for next year. 🙂

Or ask Williams if you can take a photo of his hand outstretched only, blow it up....and have writing in it:-

Remember ME Billy?

I said this in the game day thread last night BUT I "think" the game plan last night was to actually kick to the scumbag and have our chasers smash him....it may have just been that we had a crap kicking game, BUT in the second half when he was "tackle shy" they were kicking out to gain metres.....so I think I may well be right.

BE....it's a real classic I reckon, I just wish T-Rex realised how bloody he is and did that more of the time....not sure if you have met big Tony but he's a giant....if he was running at me I'd absolutely **** myself!!

Definately a game to watch over and over.Absoutely got owned.Shame we couldnt give them a bigger woopin. But under the circumstances with injuries a great effort.
