Apparently the Dragons are planning on trying to sack Thompson for storming out of the clubs presentation.

Do you think they told him then to get him to storm out so they could fire him.

This has got to be one of the dirtiest moves by management ever.

I see they have also released Torrens to Cronulla.

It is interesting that they would still be over the cap by $300K in 2006 despite releasing Ennis & Alby. It amazes me that they are under the cap this year if this is the case.

your kidding, is that for real Byso?

$100k for a bloke who played a handful of first grade games and was purchased as a back up only.

From memory I think Manly offered him a 1 year deal at about $60K but the Dragons offerred him a 2 year deal and reasonably more money whihc he obviously accpeted - I would have thought it would have been around $80K.

If Alby is on $80k pa and monnas is on $240k pa does that mean that Monnas is 3 times the player that Alby is?

And you can't blame thompson totally for walking out on the clubs presentation. It is in his genes. With red hair and freckles of course he is going to have a firey temper. he can't help himself.

He'll make a great prop for us guys - I know he plays second row - :-

Kite
Thompson

with

Heckenberg
King

on the bench

Trying to prove that you can count, tookey ?
Honestly, is this a running joke that I'm not in on ?
This is a thread about Lance Thompson, not Mannas.

With the workload of Kite, Heckenberg and Thompson you could leave King on the bench for 80.

He'd post the same stats anyway apart from bettering his missed tackle quota.
