That's leadership!!!!

your missing the point he should of been more involved but just let green do everything until what the 60th minute. for a million dollar man he needs to step it up especially with our season on the line.. not that we will do anything
I agree with you there re involvement, see my earlier post #17. But you can't say he's done Jack Sh#t. His fgs kept our season alive!

He also threw the long ball to put Wright down the touch line for Tom T's try.

Some of you are hard to please. It's pretty much perfection or nothing for some of you. Even more kudos to the guy for turning up at the end to take the game for us when it wasn't his best performance; that shows even more character.

Seriously? DCE made a load of tackles and was targeted all game by warriors runners. The conditions were horrid and he made the winning plays when called upon. Great decision not to go for FG early in golden point as he knows it leads to a 7 tackle set. Bomb instead. Very few halves running around in the comp could have done what he did late in that game.

Credit to DCE for the clutch field goals that got the team level in normal time and then the winner in golden point, he proved his quality there and redeemed himself for if you are being objective, was overall a pretty bad game for him. Mistakes with the ball, bad last tackle options. Not dealing with a kick off that led to a huge mistake in the context of the match. DCE still has much to do to ever get to the level of Cronk or Thurston. He must work on his game management because that very nearly cost the team today. His form has been hot and cold of late and hpefully today's game will give him a boost because playing Penrith next week will be all about managing the game.

I agree the game was pretty ordinary and Manly were poor again but I think the conditions had a fair bit to do with the standard of play
True, wet games are generally low scoring as well, with attacking offloads and backline plays minimised. Our games against the Warriors seem to have all been in the heavy wet of late where the game just becomes a slog

very few halves get involved in the game around the 60th

Cherry is my boy! Yeah sometimes he can let us down but overall he's a fantastic player and he's Manly through and through. I only got to see the highlights yesterday, but the passion they showed after Chez kicked the winning field goal was bloody awesome as!

His defence was phenomenal, the right edge defence was generally that way too. The left edge was far better although still some more confidence needed from them. Two Warriors tries off kicks?

If he was more involved and composed from the start we may not have been in the position of having to pull off those miracle plays.

At the end of the day he did win the game for us and that is the most a great leader can do feathered friend
Have a look at what his team mates thought of him when he won them the game for the mighty Sea eagles !!!
