Repeat of what Manly copped at Melbourne at the end of 2009 and 2012. Storm get all the help, opponents run out of puff, get flogged & then the media say their opponents never turned up & should apologise to their fans and sponsors. Rinse. Repeat.
Bromwich deliberately lashed out with his feet at Fifita and tripped him to the ground as Fifita was trying to get back into the defensive line. Fifita is a goose of the highest order but all he did was put a hit on and tried to get back into the line.
As for slater and his shoulder charge and the non sin-binning or penalty try, all it does is make me question why I watch a sport that is so clearly manipulated.

What the NRL will do is introduce a new rule that says you can’t miss a grand final for a Grade 1 offence.
Yeah I heard that. Pretty sure the word hero was used also to describe how he put his body on the line making the shoulder charge.
That would have to be the first time I've heard the guy doing the shoulder charge praised for the effort.
So that evidence was 100% conclusive that the ball went forward to over rule the decision ?

I don’t really know much about AFL but it is exciting to see a packed stadium at the MCG and two inner city teams presumably with a lot of history playing each other and so many people there invested in the action.
The idea of the NRL relocating traditional clubs that are the heart and soul of the league is crazy. As is taking games to soulless venues with empty seats. You’ll win more fans watching a packed game at Leichhardt on a Sunday arvo bursting at the scenes with screaming fans than by accomodating the broadcasters and sponsors. All about selling gambling unfortunately.
