I don't want him anywhere near a coaching position at Manly. His communication skills are **** i.e. everyone who hasn't been living under a rock knows he's off to the Roosters but he says he's still weighing up options and to do the best for his family. The media whore is wringing out as much limelight as he can.

IMO Uncle Nick, who's been know to hunour handshake deals,has painted himself into a corner so he has to recuit dce, but only for a year, to save face and hand him a coahing gig, because he's trying to stop the exodus on some of his younger halves.

Had Nick waited another 6 months there would be no handshake deal because the young halves of S.Smith and Savala were going great

Imagime DCE as a coach, it would take him 6 months to come up with a game plan

Honestly, cooper Cronk is the most technical commentator there is… absolutely picks the game apart… he and Joey are the only ones that actually give you an idea about what the attacking team are doing and the players they are targeting…
There are certainly worse commentators for Chez to imitate… I would rather those blokes than Ginnane, Vossy or Gus…

Guess when Manly "s season defensively is analysed in the general sense for 25 , probably does stack up reasonably well in terms of the commitment level and effectiveness .
Obviously not helped on occasions with injuries , players playing out of position and a couple of the slower forwards with problems defending more laterally, on the field together .
Though definitely an improvement recently with Jake being quite a bit more eager and with more telling defence
Were some exacerbating issues in that terrible let down against the Knights and apart from a similar sub standard effort against the Titans and just not measuring up against the Storm first up , probably not too shabby at all .
And of course, good to real good against the likes of the Panthers , Cows , Broncs and Storm .
Even the two losses against the Sharks , largely hung in there defensively .
But all those games in the past now and to make the 8 or even better after that and providing there is a relatively full strength side, going to have to be pretty much up defensively for all remaining games

Cronk is so Storm and Roosters biased..look understandable but it's also so obvious.. compared to Brandy, Innis and Joey who obviously love their clubs they do a good job of calling it as they see it.

Look at Voss and Ganane you know who they supported as kids.

I wonder if the captain challenge on Grant was Brooks or him as that was the winning play.

DCE, like all players, is playing for his reputation and pride and dignity.
