It’s not hard to think this might be right, no way should we let him tip our season over, walk away and join the chooks for a genuine shot.

I would of already stripped him of the captaincy and if he continues dialing it in, I’d drop him to Reggie’s, no way I’d release him under any circumstance, let him try and play his way into the QLD side from there and or sit out the season if he doesn’t like it.

Agree Mark. I i’m sure to outsiders we look like stupid whingeing Manly fans throwing a tantrum, but to us its like watching a re-run of a bad movie. I think the reason why we are so quick to say the season is lost is because it’s rinse and repeat of the last couple of seasons. We haven’t figured out that Defence and only Defence will win a premiership with this team, but absolutely nothing has changed as far as our defence is concerned.

And unfortunately we know that nothing will change this season and we will probably make the eight but against the better teams that defence just is paper thin and won’t get us home.

Seriously , I said this the other day , if you put our entire forward pack on the market there’d be great interest in only two players.

it pains me to write this because it’s so cliche and probably what the media are gonna say, but I think DCE is playing in a dinner suit since he announced that he’s leaving. And I’ve seen his intensity drop off as far as rushing to get to the Ball and he just doesn’t seem to wind up his players but maybe he was doing that part of it all along. Yet when we have momentum, he is front and centre of everything that’s going on and fills the highlight reels when we’re winning. Disappears when it gets gritty though.
