The Daly Cherrygraph

Happy to have Tom as captain this week but I’m not sure he should become the full time captain with the amount of time he spends on the sidelines.

Jake is to nice to be the captain, need someone with a bit of backbone who will stand up to referees.

Here you go @Thewestisbest - in the other thread someone posted a grab about the NRL valuing DCE at $400k, which you seemed to agree with, because you quoted it as an example of why Galvin's market value is what the Tiger's offered him.

What say you now then? According to the above, his market value is actually $750k because that's what Manly offered him.
The 400/500K was what the NRL would have allowed Manly to sign DCE as a one club player and veteran service.. but that would only apply to Manly.

The Roosters or any other club would not be allowed to sign him for that.. and as he was offered $750k by Manly then the NRL most likely won't allow his contract to be a lot under that figure.. under yes but not by 200/250k under..no

Where Galvin lands will tell the tale. My bet is the Bulldogs. What has mucked up DCE is that Manly offered him 750K per season for 2 years so the Rorters can’t register a contract for less than that. So it’s likely that managing the cap is an issue for them.
If that's true then I love that the club did that. A huge "f you" to the Roosters.
