Regardless of what’s put on the cap, you can bet the Roosters will be paying him in handshakes and paper bags so it’s a moot point.The 400/500K was what the NRL would have allowed Manly to sign DCE as a one club player and veteran service.. but that would only apply to Manly.
The Roosters or any other club would not be allowed to sign him for that.. and as he was offered $750k by Manly then the NRL most likely won't allow his contract to be a lot under that figure.. under yes but not by 200/250k under..no
