I noticed a distinct lack of mention of his name by the commentators throughout the game - most noticeably when Coates scored his try, the commentators completely ignored DCE’s flick pass to Toia yet waxed lyrical about Toia’s flick pass to Coates.

Towards the end Cam Smith was pretty much suggesting QLD drop DCE & replace him with Dearden for the next game.

He was ok in the first half. In the second he killed basically every promising attacking chance that came down his side by either going himself when it wasn't on or throwing a hospital pass. The left side for QLD looked far more dangerous.

You seriously think Munster offered more in attack?

Deardon looked good when he came on but then he was fresh so you would hope so… QLD lost the battle (bigly) in the middle and NONE (see ZERO) of their backs could get any traction…

Yeah, Joey was singing Deardon’s praises but I am in Gus’ camp… it is easy to look impresssive when you have not had to do the hard work early on…

Grant being a perfect example of this… he is a really good player that is OUTSTANDING when he comes off the bench…
