I noticed a distinct lack of mention of his name by the commentators throughout the game - most noticeably when Coates scored his try, the commentators completely ignored DCE’s flick pass to Toia yet waxed lyrical about Toia’s flick pass to Coates.

Towards the end Cam Smith was pretty much suggesting QLD drop DCE & replace him with Dearden for the next game.

Who played better last night - DCE or Munster. Munster was terrible.

What about Harry Grant - the worst game I have seen from a hooker in a long time.
Val Holmes was terrible and how he was picked ahead of Cobo is beyond me.
The Qld forwards were owned by NSW.

Put Cleary and and CO behind a back paddling pack and see how he goes
The moral of the Maroons game one story ..
If your Forwards get driven back . Your backs can not go forward

Agree about Holmes. Couldn’t believe they gave him a 7 in the Tele player ratings, he was crap, especially in defence. As for Grant, he is a bit of a one trick pony. Likes to jump out from dummy half to make metres through tired middles, but NSW owned the middle last night. He was therefore made to look bog average. Have to say that Robson had a great game for the blues in comparison.

I don't think the QLD mythology in Origin allows them to sack a captain mid-series.
