He doesn't want the coach to tell each player exactly where improvement is required because he thinks it 'pisses them off'... really?

Hey, a couple of their performances lately have pissed me off. So if Seibold can return the favour, I'm all for it!

Perhaps the issue is not so much telling players that they need improvement, but the way the message was delivered (in writing, with each player assigned 7 minutes) and the fact it apparently omitted any suggestions as to how that improvement could be achieved, like a real coach might provide.

I was givng it to the last couple of coaches like Halser and Barrett. I was against Hasler's second coming before we even signed him.

About the only time DCE plays any good is before Origin time and with a team of stars, then he plays mediocre at best playing for us, e.g the last two weeks.

If we are paying over a mill for a halfback he should be producing the goods every week,

No it's true. I only trust media organisations owned by billionaires, as they have no vested interests to push.

I must say there is one trait Seibold exhibits which I find extraordinary. The ability to attract adulation from a small (yet dwindling) cult of worshippers, who are determined to believe in him, despite all evidence to the contrary. This cult seems to have more belief in his abilities than even he does, given his stated intention to give “coaching” away completely.

The ability to maintain this cult following whilst simultaneously battling disinformation from evil media billionaires determined to bring an end to his coaching career really is extraordinary.

The most positive ones are generally along the lines of let's see how he goes, and are posted in counterpoint to those who've been posting 'Sack him yesterday' ever since he began (or even earlier!)
Of course there is a media beat up this week, and I too as a Manly fan am pretty pissed off, but mainly with the players to be fair, and with the club for not being more of a powerhouse. Is it Seibold's fault? I'm sure some of it is as he's only human, but whatever.

However if there is a cult of worshippers please point them out to me so I can join you in laughing at them!

Mate, as you well know, there are a few people on here who refuse to believe Seibold is part of the problem. They know who they are and I suspect an intelligent guy such as yourself would also know. It no doubt includes the 18 people who voted no on the sack Seibold poll.

Mate no one has said Siebold is not part of the problem, however it’s not just the coach. We’ve had this problem since 2014 & have had other coaches & players thru the joint! At least Siebold has attempted to change things up with the Manly Way etc. there’s more to this than just the coach….,
