I never suggested the “like minded gang” believe he is the best coach in the land, so that is disingenuous hyperbole, which I too find annoying. I have simply suggested the gang refuse to accept that he is part of the problem and that replacing him would put us on a better path.Your hyperbole is inapt and annoying. I doubt there's anyone here who thinks Seibs is the best coach in the land. That doesn't mean everyone wants him sacked immediately.
But seeing as you do, who are you going to try to sign as coach?
I don’t have a strong view on a replacement, but I do believe we should go through a proper selection process that includes inviting applicants to pitch for the job, as opposed to simply anointing Michael Ennis. The process should then identify a shortlist based on what the club believes are key ingredients for our future success - junior development, recruitment objectives, playing style having regard to the current playing roster etc. I would also never have sacked Des.
