Legacy did win DCE a premiership feathered friend
He also won best player in a Losing Grand final . If all his team mates followed suit they would have won the game .

Legacy also earned him the captaincy and other achievement that no other player in our squad has earned
We all do things that we get something out of
DCE is no different

The Legacy of Foran, Kite, Ballin, Watmough,Lyon,Stewart Bros, Matai helped DCE win that Premiership in 2011. Yes DCE did play his part, but many sacrifices were made by his teammates to make this happen and the fact they already won one with the same core group of guys a few years back made it seem likely that his contribution was somewhat exaggerated by other posters like yourself
With regards to the 2013 GF, we were beaten hands down by a much better team on paper.

You are right my friend - he was brilliant that day.

And he has been a brilliant player.

However, sadly, he has not delivered even a Grand final appearance since then, being "the man" at Manly in the last decade. That's on him being the captain and the highest-paid player.

And now he has torpedoed this season for the Sea Eagles for good measure with the timing and the method of his departure from the club.
