The Daly Cherrygraph

I think it’s deliciously amusing watching the roosters squirm and shudder at the thought of the mistake they’ve made. Savala is outplaying DCE week in and week out and Walker is light years ahead of him. Uncle Nick might be a man of his word but I bet he’s viewing manly games at the moment through the palms of his hands.
Uncle Nick kept his word with Chad Townsend and I can $CEs future heading the same way. The Roosters won’t tolerate sub par performances for too long unlike our spineless coaching set up.

The only difference will be a mysterious “career ending injury” will be the excuse from the Rorters.

The Rossters are a better coached side than Manly, which has the opportunity to provide DCE a successful year.

It's just a matter of if DCE can play a less dominant role allowing Walker to be the man, and just give the ball where needed and improve his kicking game to help steer them around the park. If he plays like he is the general and tries to play his Manly game, it could be a disaster.

But Nick is a man of his word , so he’ll be a Chook next year

Weirdler's latest - nothing new:

Roosters making space for DCE

Those doubting whether the Roosters would fulfil any obligation they may have to Daly Cherry-Evans don’t understand the character of chairman Nick Politis.

If Politis has done a deal to bring DCE to Bondi, there is no way out for the Roosters. He would not dud Daly.

If Cherry-Evans plays on next year, it will be with the Roosters.

The season was only three rounds old when Cherry-Evans dropped the biggest bombshell of the year, announcing he would be leaving Manly at the end of their current campaign. He also hinted he may play on in the NRL.

Moves are already being made to accommodate DCE’s potential arrival at Bondi Junction. Rising star Hugo Savala is being told to ignore offers from elsewhere, on the promise that he will learn from DCE. Sandon Smith has been told he can go to another club.

Also, the Roosters are set to part ways with the man who helped deliver them the 2018 and 2019 titles, Cooper Cronk. Cherry-Evans will be positioned as a coach down the track.
It’s easy being a man of your word when you have a billion bucks and can just park him in reserves if it doesn’t work out.

Meanwhile, what will Savala learn from him…..

Well, he's getting plenty of practice playing a less dominant role for us right now. Seriously, he's like the f#cking Invisible Man out there, and the only times you do see him, he's invariably doing something to stunt the attack. I will not miss his second tackle kicks to no one dribbling over the in-goal line.

This is a slight change of narrative… I reckon Nick is agitating for DCE to retire…

Thinking back to DCE'S announcement where he said he might retire, might play on, I wonder if uncle Nick was smart enough to get an option in his favour on that.

Actually Brooks is the invisible man. DCE is presenting in plain sight.

Cherry was way more visible in the second half, and actually looked like he was trying to do something to get us back into the game. Of course none of it worked and it was all too late anyway. And yes, Brooks disappeared as well. As a halves pairing, they are not particularly good.
Based on salaries and experience I would claim they have been our worst pairing of all time.
