Haven’t willingly missed a Brookvale game in 5-6 years but that will likely change next week. I refuse to celebrate anything about this flog and if he and the rest of the team don’t care then I don’t see why we should.

Seriously, he should be dropped in the form he's currently in. Bring up Joey Walsh, can't be any worse.

All ^ that aside for a sec, the half time play where he simply walked past the 40 metre line to take a field goal attempt was bizarre.

If we're to concede (unlikely) that after 15+ years he has more game sense than that, then surely taking a half assed attempt at a FG where you have automatically cut the points available by half (2 down to 1) followed up by arm dangling tackle attempts and rushing up to 'hug' your man to see the ball passed over putting the tigers into gaps....is worthy of -if not an official investigation - then a hell of a lot of video analysis.

Though I do think most of the team/coach has checked out. Most, not all.

If the average person acted like this at work, doing very little, checking out, not giving a damn, etc they’d be out the door immediately. Yet here we are, with DCE totally checked out and he is not the only one for that matter. It is just unacceptable, he/they are paid to play football, so play or find someone who will. Give game time to Walsh and drop DCE (for starters), he does not deserve to play his 350th game at Manly.

I dont know if he is ready. I signed up to bar TV to watch his games. He does some really good things but does alot of poor things as well. His passing game was shocking last knock other than maybe one brilliant ball. I was in the get Walsh in now camp, but might be better to slowly nurture him along a bit more, rather than throwing him to the wolves

If we drop DCE, we will get lambasted in the media for treating a ‘club legend’ with extreme disrespect. It will be brutal.

But for me, it all depends on what he does next and this is where he is being selfish by not declaring what he is doing. If he is going to retire, my view is 340+ games for the one club means you can play out your last season. If he is going to the Chooks, which we all suspect is 90% likely, stuff him.

Who cares, you make your bed and you lie in it. The media will make a headline out of anything. But you cant put a price on strength and you cant buy respect. Outside of the media the broader nrl community are laughing at us. Any club with conviction and strength in its identity would of handled this appropriately, but we just bend over to anyone and everyone. We are a weak club under this administration. The players know it also. Wonder why no one wants to come here. There in lies the problem, the cherry Evans saga is just another slap in the face of our once great club, for everyone else to snicker at. Yet we continue to roll out the red carpet, for someone who would not do the same in return. There are a few words that come to mind.. cucks, simps, feeble, doormat. This is what this administration embodies. No success will come from it. No self respect
