I think they have had a bad start (and this will sting them) but I also believe they love the club and are in it for the long haul I don't see them ditching the club. I hope I'm right.
For the amount of money they have its stupid to think they would be in the club for anything other than passion. An nrl license is chump change compared to their net worth. Look up penn health. They own weight watchers

Thanks for your replies @Jatz Crackers, @lurker and @Mavin...!!
So would the Penns be able to sell the license to say Perth or whoever without the support of the Football club?

They can sell the license but the team can't be moved. They'd have to sell it with the preference vote

I believe Lurker to be spot on there @Eagleheart.

So in essence selling the license that is our club could happen but the constraints of operating the license currently preclude those 3 main points that Lurker so rightly identifies (Name/Colours/Home ground)

The only real danger IMO could come from the NRL itself, if we were to become financially stricken or dont measure up in any other critical criteria that is necessary for us to maintain the license under their contractual conditions, then theoretically the NRL could be a player involved in our demise. Unlikely in the extreme though & suggestions that The Penns might consider this as an option IMO is ridiculous.

Thanks for that @Jatz Crackers, appreciate the explanation.

As far as I was aware I thought the penn family were big manly fans, and that's entirely why they're owners.
I know losing these halves has been a horrible start to their ownership but I'm very hopeful about our clubs future.

Yep they are big fans hell you would have 2 be a big fan as you aren't going 2 make any money. I agree it's been a poor start I hope this stings them into action.

Talk of the team losing their NRL licence and being relocated is WAY over the top. Sure we have been kicked in the ar$e, but jeez it will take a lot more than this to stop our mighty club!!

So is Foz gone 100%? I can't find confirmation either way.
Some honesty would have been nice from those two players.

Forget massive offers , player power , dalai arthur , coach losing the dressing room....the answer has been staring us in the face....its Pontian's avatar.....DCE then Foran....now he's chosen Brett Stewart. If Brett is the next player to want out then we all know the real reason....LOL.

Is his why the Warriors dropped out so quick with Foz? They were tabling big money but then nothing. Is it because they found out the Parra deal was done and didn't want to be dicked around?
