Geez pressure on the team this week from Silvertails.

We’ve had one win from our last six including some absolute embarrassments and now somehow we have an embarrassment of riches to choose from and a master coach at the helm.These guys were playing in the five losses too and Barrett was coaching.It was a good win but it means nothing unless we back it up. Souths after the Parra win anyone ??

I am optimistic we will win quite a few games including this one from here but making the eight if we lose this week makes it nigh on impossible with our nightmare draw.Our best is very good, our worst is horrible and if that doesn’t change our fortunes won’t.

Hodkinson can be a game changer for us. DCE is a star if given clean air and guys like Walker and TT should relish the composure Hodkinson will add.Hopefully we see it this weekend.

Storm are not weak. They have a cracking backline with wingers that could beat us on their own, a great five eight, great centres and Slater. Throw in a no frills tough forward pack and playing at home they should start clear favourites and be tough to beat. I reckon we can win.

We do have an embarrassment of riches when you can field a team with 9 players out and defeat Bronco's at Lang Park .... you obviously have an embarrassment of riches when you can take on Melb in Melb with even a modicum of hope with 9 players out ....

And yes congratulations to Baz for putting this squad together .... if I ran a poll now to find one of our players that we didn't want to play or was not up to it... about the only answer I would get would be Brown .... and that would just be for the laughs ...

Geez Woodsie you extrapolate a lot from my posts. I have said numerous times we have oodles of talent in our squad. I rate a lot of them highly.What we don’t do is use them properly and play with a plan. If we play that ridiculous low percentage high risk second phase hope and a prayer stuff this week after that second half middle blitz against the broncos I will do my block.Are you confident it won’t happen? I’m not I’m afraid.

That’s the issue. No one ever knows which football team will turn up, unlike our opposition who do it week in week out.And this after 3 years, not 3 games.Thats what good coaching begets.. consistency.

What I DID say is we have won a single game from our last 6 and the last time we had a good win we got smashed the next week.

I think Hodkinson can be a godsend for us and I’m really looking forward to this week but forgive me if I don’t get carried away when we are 3 from 10.

I flew to Sydney 2 weeks ago for the roosters game then drove from the GC to face the boganfest with my daughter last week so don’t put me down as a death rider mate.Would be in Melbourne except for a mates wedding. Love the club and happy to share my opinion like many others on here.
