Nah mate im not a closet bears supporter . I just dont mind having a lewy Brown type player that has a bit of a dig in our colours. Its pretty tough playing in different positions as he's done over the last couple of years and kill it every week . For whatever reason he is in our squad , the coaching staff must think he goes alright.
The coaching staff have also put him on the open market but no one would take him .
If the coaching staff really think he goes alright they would have extended his contract . Any Brown fan on here that really believe that Brown goes alright will be truly vindicated if Brown is given a contract extension but the reality is that Brown wont be offered a new contract when his contract ends .
What do you guys mean its pretty tough playing in different positions when your a bench utility player ? Isn't that what a quality utility bench player does . Quality bench players Come on and make an impact . But I guess your right it would be tough for inept players like Brown who come on and try to mix it up with Quality opposition .

I have been a proud supporter of our great Sea eagle club and I have been spoilt with great players that made our club great.
Players like Clean , Vautin , Beaver, Randall, Jake turbo , Ben Kennedy ,Watmough Glen Stewart , Daniel Gartner , Kosef etc ...

I am a proud financial supporter who has standards and just like no one backs a loser in the Melbourne cup , I don't back losers like Brown in the NRL premiership
'Disgrace to the Manly colours', one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read on here and I've been here since day 1 !!
And bit part players such as Bryant, Hall, Mauro, Williamson etc all provide something that allows all those players to be stars mate and are also part of what keeps the club ticking over and competitive. Have a look at every premiership side Manly have ever produced and there would be a handful of guys in each side that would cop a bagging on here !!
His last match for the Kiwis was November the 20th 2016 in the 34 -8 loss against Australia and in that match he was given a rating of 5/10

Brown was overlooked in the following international game against Australia on the 5th of May 2017 and if anyone thinks he will represent again they have rocks in their head . LOL

I have time for Bryant , Hall Mauro , Willamson etc as they made a contribution when they came on . Brown last season was reduced to an average 15 minute game time off the bench by the coaching staff and one wonders why .
It will be a disgrace and a waste of cap $pace if he gets a new contract .

Remember 87 what a side . But not too many remember stuart the 'bug davis' on the wing , Vautin , Gibbs , hasler , lyons , cleal , O'Connor got all the accolades but the bug Davis was still a major factor in that campaign in my maroon and white eyes.
Stuart Davis !!! A great underrated player . Nicknamed 2 iron with ears Davis was a very consistent finisher and a marvel to watch . One of the characters of our Manly colours .
Anthony Collella another very underrated bench player who came one to give players a rest like Clean, Vautin, Kosef, Gartner .
When Collella came on the tempo remained on as well .
Nothing like watching QUALITY Manly players . That's what made us a great club !!!
