Yep, we signed Brooks first, then did the Schuster deal fairly quickly as I remember. Thought it was a dud call as well.

I just dont know what to say about this situation. Its almost as if the powers that run the universe had a say here. Such a talented footy player. He was a good clubman and loved Manly. Sure he wasnt the best trainer but such a shame he couldnt make it in the NRL. Plenty of other pure footy players that did make it. That game against the eels in 2021 the day we remembered the great bozo was just something special.

Should go to the south of France and have couple seasons there… minimal training required and can play some ‘park footy’. Could play, just doesn’t have it in him to compete at Nrl level … too tough for that little marshmallow …
