Good question. Have to think he's out of favour as he's sitting out as a replacement reserve.

If the clappers hang tough and pull this off, they are a good chance to do over the Wahs next weekend too (particularly if SJ doesn't play). Ricky could find himself in a GF qualifier... now that would be one to ponder with the up and down season they've had and the horrendous points differential.

In those short drop outs, you need to have your FB tracking behind the line where the ball drops to cover those scenarios. If the FB is taking the drop out, then assign another player.

I like it. I just wish they would change the rule that said it is a penalty if if doesn’t go 10m or goes out in the full. Should just be a scrum.

I always thought it was on. Druggies have had an amazing run, and always had question marks over their real credentials. I also think clappers are a better team than they've shown.

That said, this could just as easily turn in the second half, depending on which clapper team turns up. If they continue as they played the first half, they are a real chance.

I agree re the questions marks over the Knights, I just didn’t expect the raiders to expose them like they have in the first half. I expected the crash down to earth next week. Along way to go as you point out.

As much as I don’t like Newcastle, there is something great about seeing a full crowd at Marathon. It’s how I remember Manly v Newcastle games growing up - always a cracking game and great atmosphere.
