The positives from yesterday.

Only positive was, i was on a plane same time as the game and my first text when landing was from my daughter ....
" DO NOT WATCH THE GAME !!!!"

Actually I had thought our game was Sunday and thought I could watch it

The positives out of yesterday:

1 Des's contract hasn't been extended
2 Sirro, Parker, Boyle, Walker, Jetski, Garrick and Croker are all off contract this year and Kapow next year.

The negatives:
1 DCE has 3 more years, Jake and TT 6 more.

I just really don't understand why, despite them not really looking to sign elsewhere, Manly decided to re-sign Jake and Tom long-term on absolute top dollar.

It just doesn't seem like very savvy negotiating on the club's behalf especially when they had the hindsight of DCE's deal.
