He always stated he wanted to stay coz his wife is a Northern Beaches girl & she didn’t want to move anywhere else. His manager is an idiot but so was the Manly recruitment team! Read this. This article points out where he wanted an upgrade mid contract. I think choc watmough said on a podcast he was sitting out training until he was upgraded. Maybe somewhere else too but ages back
