The reason that ghosts say "boo"

Hello 4 people who wander into this subforum.
We've all grown up (mostly) with the understanding that ghosts (by and large) say boo!

Type boo into your phone and the emoji of a ghost pops up.

But why?

Well....

Boo is Latin for: cry; roar; yelling

so the ghosts are going "I'm yelling!!!" and/or "Roaaaar!" when they say/yell it to you.

I feel there's many people here 40+ that didn't know that!

I hear a lot of ghosts at the footy*, especially when the opposition is offside of do a dirty tackle on a Manly player.
