Jake's style of play tonight is what we've been missing for most of the season. Less one out plays and more playing like half and keeping the ball moving. Not surprising we look more dangerous in attack. Let's hope he can keep this up. He's a champion.

Jake's passion for Manly and his desire to win can't be underestimated. How fired up did he look tonight and how desperate was he to make sure everybody knew not to piss the lead away. Deserves every cent he gets.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Jake getting a few rests throughout the game? I feel with an occasional rest he could offer a little more from an attacking perspective.

No. What Manly needs is for some of the other lazy forwards to do some more work in defence so Jake doesn't have to keep covering for them.

Schuster is tackling well his match fitness is getting better and he is only going to get better..he would be good as lock and offers more attack than jake

I think it’s unfair to expect the guy to put in any more effort than he already he. IMO he is the hear and soul of our team atm

Life is not fair especially when our Legendary club has not won a game in the last 12 games
That is not Manly . That is Mediocrity

It's a coaching decision how he's used, maybe people who can read the game better than I can will be able to justify it, but I'm not seeing the x factor that 900K is supposed to provide with Jake at the moment. He was much more potent in attack under Barrett

We are all used to on field comic skits from Jake and our team

Not fast mobile enough at 13
Not powerful enough at prop

But his heart and defence gets him in our side every time. None of the others are any better.
