Problem being, we have put a price on it, and that price is a metric f#cktonne.

But yes, they are worth their weight in gold. I just wish there was a "weight in gold" exemption in the salary cap.

I guess we don't know Ben's ceiling, but for me, he's been a bright spot in a pretty dull year. Yes, he makes his share of mistakes, but no one could ever accuse him of not giving 100%. Maybe, when you cheer for an underdog, you see more than is really there, who knows...I see a young bloke who genuinely loves the club having a fairbinkum dig, and in a year where I've watched our captain turn against us, loyalty means a lot.

I for one think Burbo has had a very good year , he started ad the 3rd brother signed only due to his last name but finished as a genuinely improving back rower.

Yes he makes a few mistakes, but he hits hard , try’s his guts out and is slowly turning into a good footy player.

Forget his last name and look at him as a youngster developing nicely.

His best years are ahead of him.

Im sure there is a lot to love about a club who is silly enough to pay a slow Jurbo, with his weak minded, give a ruck penalty away that will help, 1.2 million a year.

He will change his tune like Turtle when the club offer him closer to 200k in the future.

Navale already does everything quicker, harder, straighter, faster and all without the lethargic dumb ruck infringements.

It's pretty pathetic to keep hearing that Burbo was only signed because of his last name. He was excellent in the juniors and has proven with his development that he is NRL standard. If injuries don't hamper him, 2026 will be his best year yet.

He’s getting paid that much next year because Dessie backended both of their contracts.
