Quick opinion thread on then and now and by that i mean our Dominant 2000's and the current circus.

Obviously its easy to say that across the board we had a better side but some of the current squad in my opinion are better.

Marty and AFB are massive at the moment. The Turbos are amazing. DCE has all the ability yet somewhat struggles in the current setup.

Is it down to coaching and fitness that players are currently struggling. I say yes.

Looking at our attack its so easy to defend against, its all left side with turbo chiming in round the back. Nothing really goes to Suli and Parker. or perhaps those guys just aren't good enough to warrant the ball? When it was announced we signed Suli I was hoping for the guy that had lit up the tigers back-line with some great attacking but we get a plodder?

Parker i just don't get at all?

Sure in a perfect world Walker and Uate would be tearing opposition defences a new one down that side as they did in 2017 but that's not the case.

That dominant side was stacked with an amazing core of players that were special but also solid nothing special guys that were expendable.

Its a real shame our current team isn't coached to a level where even the special players can shine and help the average guys.
