I think you're over rating the competancy of some posters.
The team hasn't come a long way, peoples opinions have. The team were always going to be this good. Anyone who thought any different obviously didn't watch that great Toyota cup team of a couple of years ago very closely.

It's awesome to look back on early season posts and see how well you can goose yourself. I completely wrote off Manly, Broncos and Sharks after round 1. Well I suppose 1 out 3 isnt a complete failure. Dont think I will early season judge again.

I'm all for naming and shaming; it was a ridiculous initial (if not inaugural) post to make such harsh judgments after one game - the first game. Anyway, I hope the poster learns a lesson to not judge a book by its cover ;^) Nothing wrong with making bad calls... as long as we can be man(ly) enough to say what can I learn from being a - what does Vidmar call it - buffoon.
